Stained Glass Workshops

Deirdre has been working as a stained glass artist for over 20 years, and teaching for over 15 years now, working with fused glass, copper foil and leaded lights. She has a degree in Visual Art from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Masters from Crawford College of Art and Design (CIT), Masters in Fine Art (Art & Process).

Deirdre set up her studio in Schull, West Cork, overlooking the resplendent local Islands and the Atlantic Ocean. The visually stunningly beautiful rugged environment of West Cork is inspirational and motivating for Deirdre in her work.

Deirdre runs one-to-one full day workshops in her studio, and teaches groups of up to 8 people in evening classes and one day workshops locally and throughout the country.
